A workshop was held at AO NFP regarding the issue of providing the future enterprise with highly qualified personnel.
During the meeting, it was noted that by the time the plant is commissioned, more than 1,500 jobs will be created. As part of the project, the company plans to attract majority of the staff from among the residents of NGOs and Primorsky Krai.
For the construction and maintenance of the plant, the company plans to create jobs for specialists in labor protection, ecology and industrial safety, as well as for personnel in such technical specialties as operators, machinists, technologists, fitters, electricians, power engineers, instrumentationists and others. In addition to technical specialists, AO NFP plans to hire a large number of local professionals from the field of logistics, procurement, finance, law, human resources, IT, etc.
In order to provide the project with labor resources, in September 2019 AO NFP entered into a strategic partnership agreement with the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East. An agreement on the implementation of the project in the territory of advanced social and economic development was also concluded with JSC Far East Development Corporation, which provides support for the project at the state level.
In order to support graduates and young specialists of the region, a cooperation agreement has already been concluded with FEFU, on the basis of which a training and advanced training program for project personnel will be created. In addition, it is planned to cooperate with local secondary specialized educational institutions.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the compensation package for future employees of the enterprise. It was noted that in terms of the size of remuneration, as well as the social package, AO NFP will become one of the most attractive employers of the region. The average salary at the enterprise (excluding top managers) will be twice the average regional indicator and will amount to about 110 thousand rubles per month. A monthly salary, for example, of a fitter will be at least 80 thousand rubles. In addition to standard social guarantees and compensations in accordance with the labor legislation of the Russian Federation, plant workers will be provided with additional medical insurance, which will also apply to minor children of employees.
In order to ensure decent living conditions for the employees of the new enterprise, the company is considering the construction of a residential neighborhood and the necessary social infrastructure (in particular, pre-school and school institutions). It is worth noting that this infrastructure will be available not only to NFP employees, but also to all Wrangel residents.
Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant (NFP) is a large-scale investment project for the construction of methanol and ammonia production capacities in the Russian Far East.
The construction is carried out under the “turnkey” EPC contract with the leading international contractor for the construction of gas chemical plants - China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd.
The construction of the plant will ensure the creation of more than 1,500 highly qualified jobs in the Nakhodka city district, which will be exclusively hired from Russian specialists. The main recruitment is scheduled for 2021-2023. The average salary at the enterprise will be 117,214 rubles. After tax holidays and launch of the Phase 2, the project will bring up to 14.5 billion tax revenues to budgets of all levels annually.
