AO Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant and Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES) concluded an agreement on targeted training of professional personnel for the future enterprise.
The agreement provides for the integrated cooperation of the enterprise with the university. Students will be trained at the base of the VSUES branch in Nakhodka.
During their studies, students will undergo practical training and internships at the enterprise, participate in the development and implementation of an innovative development program.
Highly qualified specialists of the plant, in turn, will be involved in the educational process of the university: they will participate in the development of curriculum and educational programs, they will conduct seminars, lectures and practical classes, participate in meetings of the state examination commission and the state certification committee.
The first enrollment is planned already in 2020. After graduation, all graduates will be guaranteed employment at NFP.
“Staffing is one of the key issues in project management. Our factory is more than 1,500 new highly qualified jobs, which we plan to fill up primarily from the residents of Nakhodka and Primorsky Territory. This agreement will give us a tool to provide ourselves with labor resources on a systematic basis, ”said Viktor Grebenyukov, Executive Director of NFP, during the signing.
“Experience shows that targeted training is an effective option for the interaction of an educational institution in a chain of student - university - enterprise. Students are subject-oriented and the process of obtaining knowledge is dynamic. It’s important to note that the residents of Nakhodka have the opportunity to get an education and get a prestigious high-paying job without leaving their hometown, ”said Tatyana Terentyeva, rector of VSUES.
Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant (NFP) is a large-scale investment project for the construction of methanol and urea production capacities in the Russian Far East.
The construction of the plant will ensure the creation of more than 1,500 highly qualified jobs in the Nakhodka city district, and after tax holidays and launch of the Phase 2, up to 14.5 billion tax revenues to budgets of all levels annually.
