NFP Focuses on Fresh Talents Straight from School
Representatives of the Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant (NFP) held a meeting with students of school No. 22 in Nakhodka. The NFP team spoke on the demand for professions related to chemistry, opportunities for career growth, and ways to enroll in employer-sponsored educational programs. For NFP, career guidance is an important investment in human capital. The company conducts such activities at all levels, from chemistry-for-fun classes in elementary school to enrolling in employer-sponsored educational programs with students from local universities and vocational high schools.
The meeting was conducted as part of the all-Russian project “Trailblazers: Visiting Scientists”. Its purpose is to popularize natural science and introduce school pupils to the operation of production facilities in the regions.
“The development of the Primorsky Krai depends on these young people. We organize meetings with professionals, plant tours, so that students can see what Nakhodka has to offer. NFP is one of the largest plants in the city. This is precisely the scale of a facility that we want to present to the kids,” said Tatyana Popova, the coordinator of “Trailblazers” program in the Nakhodka city district.
In the near future, the NFP team is going visit other schools in the city and organize excursions to the construction site of the future plant.
