Young teachers of Nakhodka have launched their own podcast
The ‘ProNakhodku.ped’ podcast became one of the top projects presented at the ‘Best Educational Project’ contest arranged by the Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant (NFP) with the support of IMC ‘Razvitie’. The contest happened to become a starting point for the project and the first episodes have already been released.
The project was created by Alevtina Kindina and Wanda Matsedonskaya, two teachers from school no.1, ‘Polus’, and school no.5 respectively. They believe that the ‘ProNakhodku.ped’ podcast will help to create a teaching community in the city, become a great tool to help young teachers avoid occupational burnout and bring teachers and students together.
“Those who arranged this contest have created a perfect opportunity for the participants to share their experience, be creative and make their projects even better. All of the experts were always in touch. It was them who encouraged us to divide each of our podcasts into four main categories: ‘Pedagogical findings’, ‘To laugh or to cry’, ‘We are people too’ and ‘Blitz round’”, says Alevtina Kindina.
The first two episodes are already available on the website.
NFP helps to make tradition education in Nakhodka more efficient and modern. High-quality education is one of the key factors in achieving such an ambitious goal as to prevent people from leaving the city and thus to increase its overall population. The ‘Best Educational Project’ contest is one of the ways that NFP implements its social policy in education. The participants have already presented their projects and the award-winning ones will be announced next month. Each of the winners will receive unique awards from NFP that will allow them to bring their projects to life.
