Khimik from the Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant started the season of Nakhodka Amateur Football Championship with a confident win. The first game with FC “Lyubitel” ended with the score 5:1.

10 teams are participating in the Championship this year. The competition will be held in two rounds, every team will play against each other. Khimik will play 18 matches by the end of the summer.

“The Championship has become really competitive, there are more teams. But we have also gained in strength. We played keep-ball, kept it on the carpet. The most productive player today is Evgeniy Mamchenkov. He played well offense and defense. I would also like to honor our goalkeeper, Dmitry Pesotsky, the Marine Terminal Construction Department Specialist. He was good in goal, joined in attacks, gave out excellent passes,” said Yuri Vykhodtsev, team captain and NFP Chief Ecologist.

The Company actively sponsors the interests of its employees, so it rented a training site for the team and purchased sports gear and equipment.

NFP football players joined the fight for the City Championship Cup for the second time. Last year, two Khimik players became a part of the “star” team and closed the Championship with a spectacular match. This April, the team became vice-champion of the Nakhodka Championship among Corporate Teams.
