The Company announces commencement of public hearings on the project subject to GEE review – project documentation on the NFP’s Main Substation with the capacity of 5400 MTPD of methanol.  Public hearings will be held as part of the review of project documentation on the Permanent Works, including preliminary materials of environmental impact assessment.

Entities responsible for organization of public hearings: Department of Ecology and Environmental management of Nakhodka Urban District Administration (located at: 18 Shkolnaya St., office 202, Nakhodka; tel. +7(4236) 69-27-52, e-mail: ecologi@nakhodka-city.ru) together with the Employer or its representative.

Name of the planned economic and other activities: the abovementioned main substation will be operated as a standby power source to cover the electrical loads of Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant.

Purpose of the planned economic and other activities: Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant will be powered by the main substation during repair or maintenance of generating plants, which will serve as the main power source of the plant.

Preliminary location of the planned economic and other activities: Nakhodka, TOR Nakhodka (territory of advanced development), Primorsky Krai.

The environmental impact assessment is scheduled for: 2nd quarter of 2023.

Documentation on the facility to be discussed at the public hearings will be available from 4 May 2023 to 5 June 2023 at the following locations:

Public hearings will be held at 18:00 on 26 May 2023, 18:00, in the big hall of the Center of Culture, 22 Leninskaya str., Nakhodka Urban District.
