Rosrybolovstvo issues approval of Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant construction project
Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant construction project has been approved by Primorsky Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency of Fisheries.
In particular, the review of the “Methanol Production Plant. Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant” project documentation is complete. According to the approval report, the project documentation stipulates a number of preventive measures preventing negative impact of the plant on aquatic bioresources and habitat.
According to the Rosrybolovstvo specialists, the program of industrial and environmental control included in the design is intended for both construction and operation periods. As per assessment of impact on aquatic bioresources and their habitats it was determined that the level of impact will be acceptable if solutions specified in the design are observed.
As a recap, NFP is one of the ten largest investment projects in Russia and in the top three investment projects implemented in the Far East. Tax payments to the budgets of all levels will amount to 49 billion rubles during the period of Priority Development Area preferential treatment. In addition, the plant will create 1,500 jobs with decent wages, expanded benefits, and comfortable working conditions.
