Construction of NFP is getting ahead of schedule

During the offsite meeting that took place in Nakhodka Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of the Primorsky Krai, was informed regarding the construction pace of NFP, the largest investment project of the Far East.

Many types of works have either been fully completed or are about to be completed in the nearest future.

“We are currently focusing our efforts on site levelling and construction of infrastructure facilities. We have already finished gas pipeline installation works and continue construction of the Marine Terminal.  Prior construction commencement we took numerous environmental actions. In particular we have built a large wastewater collection and treatment facility”, says Viktor Grebenyukov, Executive Director of NFP.

Furthermore, all the bored piles driving works have already been completed and a passage was drilled underneath the Kozmino-Vrangel road to ensure trenchless installation of the gas pipeline. Thus, it became possible to install the pipe without damaging the road or intervening with the traffic.

Once all the preparatory works are completed, the construction team will proceed with the construction of plant foundation. These works shall be done by the end of this year.

We would also like to remind you that NFP is one of the three largest investment projects in the Far East and among top-10 investment projects in Russia. The annual production capacity of the plant will reach 1.8MM tons of end product.
