NFP Set to Start Site-Levelling Works

The Municipality of Nakhodka issued a construction permit for NFP after the latter had obtained GGE’s positive conclusion regarding its site levelling activities (Conclusion No.  25-1-1-3-063194-2022 dated 1 September 2022).

This means that the project documentation submitted by NFP complies with all environmental requirements, the Town Planning Code and technical regulations, codes and standards that govern design and construction of such highly critical and technology-intensive facilities.

With the permission at hand, NFP is getting down to preparations for site levelling and construction.

It is to be noted that the company is currently building two access roads to the future construction site, an in-house potable water tank and wastewater treatment units. On top of that, NFP has received a permit for the construction of the marine terminal.

NFP is an anchor resident of NOR Nakhodka, an advanced special economic zone. It is among the ten largest investment projects in Russia and in the top three investment projects in the Far East. Tax payments to the budgets of all levels will amount to 49 billion rubles as early as at the stage of the preferential treatment at TOR. The overall headcount of the plant will amount to 1,500 people. Even the start of construction, NFP is ready to offer decent salaries, an expanded social package and supplemental medical insurance for employees and their children.

NFP has taken the initiative of implementing Social and Economic Development Plan in Nakhodka. The program, which was approved by Mikhail Mishustin, Russian Prime Minister, includes various actions. Some of them are already underway this year: reparation of 9 schools and 9 kindergartens, construction of sports complex and sports grounds, beautification of the Solenoe lake’s embankment. The public facility improvement will be carried out annually.
